First Impressions

I am a nice person, I really am. Most people that I meet I like. I give most people the benefit of the doubt and I like them for who they are. There are people that get on my nerves but I still like them for who they are. But I admit that lately there is one person for which I have strong feelings of dislike. He is one of those people that has a high opinion of himself. This by itself I might be able to over look. The reason I don't like him is they way he makes others feel. On first glance he is a really cute boy that any girl would like and then he opens his mouth and .... Within the first conversation with him I went from thinking he was cute to thinking that I didn't want to ever be around him. Also, when he met my roommate he was a complete jerk to her.
I think the reason I have a hard time with him is he reminds me a lot of a boy I knew that was a complete and total jerk. (This boy was one of the most manipulative and disgusting boys I have ever met.) Both boys have a lot of the same views of the world and they both seem to be shallow jerks.
I have wondered if maybe I'm being over dramatic. I tend to do that sometimes (it is the theatre side of me coming out). Maybe I am, and I'll admit that I do pretend to hate him more than I actually do. But I do have a dislike for him, stemmed from all the things mentioned above.
Since meeting this boy I have also wondered if it was just a bad first impression and I truely hope that it is. I wonder if it is like in Pride and Prejudice where Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth hate each other because they just don't understand each other. Maybe it is and the more we get to know him the more our opinion of him will improve but as of right now I don't like him much at all.

Computers, Ants, and vacation

I just wanted to declare to the world that after a whole month of boredom and waiting my computer is finally accessible and working. It is amazing how dependent I am on a small little box.

Have you ever been infested with insects before well I have decided that my apartment must be infested with ants. Today I was running late today and I didn't get anything to eat so I grabbed my box of Cheez-its from the living room floor and ran out the door. I was hungry at work so I pulled out my box, stuffed a handful into my mouth, swallowed and went to grab another handful, it was then that realized the box was covered in ants (well had at least 7 ants on it) and my purse had some too! Needless to say I did not eat anymore and the box is now in the garbage. And here I sit living off of smarties and tootsie rolls.... the only thing edible here. YUMMY!!

I'm here at work dying because I'm hungry but also because I have been on vacation for a week (pictures to be posted soon) and have another vacation in a week and I just don't want to be here anymore!!! I feel like I have ants crawling all over me up and down my throat. It is disgusting!!! YUCK! So that is my story for the day!!! fun stuff!!

Life without a computer

So I totally forgot the password to get into my computer. I have no idea what it could be. So I have been living without a computer for quite a few weeks. It is no fun. And that my friends is why I have not blogged much lately.

So updates
- I'm now 21: legal and able to drink (if I wanted to)
- My roommates and family made this a great birthday.
- My sisters visited me in logan last week. We watched North and South, Went to tummi yummies and went to the temple.
- Megan is home from Europe
- I ran/walked a 5k on the Fourth of July.... it was alright... It made me want to run more though
- I am very proud to be an American
- Joe's Valley is in 12 days and I'm excited because I am going form the whole week... I'm going early with Aunt Carol's family
- Jordan is coming home soon from his mission. I can't believe he has been gone for 2 years.... I got to read his last to letters to his family and they were amazing.... My cousin has sure grown up.
- Joseph has been gone for a whole year on his mission... weird.... long and yet very short.
- My hair is very soft today.

Well I've got to go but I hope to update more soon!!!!
