trips part two

Also this summer my family and I went to YellowStone. It was a fun trip and we loved spending time with Heidi's sister Susie and her family.

The first day I think we drove for like ever through logan, bear Lake, Jackson Hole, Yellow Stone, and finally through Cody.

The next day we spent some time at the buffalo Bill museum it was quite fun. It was fun to look at Annie Oakley's things.

Then Wednesday we went back to Yellow Stone and spent the whole day driving around. We missed seeing a bear by like 2 minutes because he went over the hill. We saw Old Faithful and that was always fun. We saw a bunch of Elk but that was it. We really wanted to see a bear and Moose.

The next day we wanted to go fishing but It was rainy and really windy. We would cast out our lines and it would end up washing up to shore. We ended up going up to a meadow and having dutch oven cooking while it cleared up for a second. On the way to the meadow we saw a ranch of buffalo and it was amazing to see them just standing there.

The last night we ended up having a girl's night and we had wax pedicures and then we watched Kate and Leopold which was great.

Saturday we started our long drive home, we went through Yellow Stone again. It was great because we saw a huge and I mean HUGE buffalo herd. It was interesting because it was their mating season and they were very active; pairing off into couples. We didn't really see any other animals. So we decided to go through Rexburg to the Bear park there. It was kind of fun but I wish we would have seen a wild bear.
Then we came home it was fun.
