FLASH BACK!

Monday night I had a flash back to High School. My choir director from high school is retiring from the music department and they invited alumni back to sing two numbers as a suprise to him. He really was suprised which is a miracle because he always knows everything even if it is supposed to be a secret. It was a really good performance and I was so glad that I was able to go.

It is interesting how many memories came back as I was performing on that stage. It was such a fun night. I also was able to catch up with some old really great friends from high school. It is interesting how many girls are engaged or already married. I know I feel no where near ready for that but to each their own.

Also it was fun to be there because my sister just made Vocal Ensemble and monday night they announced that she is the secretary for the Choir (the one position that she really didn't want). But Congrats Kim, you are going to have a totally awesome year next year!!!!!

As for me at home I totally found this movie that I am absolutely in love with it is a BBC mini series called North and South and I'm not kidding people it is amazing my roomies and I stayed up until 2 am just so we could finish it!!! and by amazing I mean fantastically awesome... better (I think) than even Pride and Prejudice. That is saying a lot.

Also my new ward is awesome and I already love doing activities with them!!! I'm still looking for a second job but am now working every day and DFCU. Megan is gone and I miss her!!!


Still no boys to speak of but you know what that is okay.... I like the single thing.

Thats about it for me. I wish I had more to talk about but well whatever!!! Until I blog again... remember to smile!!

INTERNET

Today my apartment finally got internet. I'm so excited... I never knew how dependent I was on it. But it is so hard to function when you have NO internet. You need to check your email and guess what you have to hike up the hill to campus find a place that you can get internet... give up because your computer is not getting internet anywhere. Decided to go to the library... where you sit for 3 mins, find out that guess what you have no new emails to read. Then you just have to go home. Yes this really did happen. It was one of the many adventures that I had this last 2 and half weeks without internet. Also have you ever tried to find a job these days with no internet. It is almost impossible.... almost all places have you apply online. Thus I am very grateful for the internet. It makes me happy!!!

Mothers

As yesterday was Mother's Day, I just wanted to give a shout out to all the women/ mothers in my life.

First, there are the Relief Society in my home ward. They are all accepting and have helped my family through the hard times. Many have brought in meals and helped with laundry, done a million other things. Thanks!

Second, There is all my Aunts. People I go to for advise. Friends when in need. People that remind me of my mom. Women I laugh with, and spend much time with. They have also dedicated many hours to help our family.

Then there is my "Second Mom." My mom's best friend and someone I look up to, someone who has been there through everything; Someone I could go to about anything. She knows who she is. I want to thank her for everything (today is her birthday- Happy Birthday).

Next is Heidi, my step mom! She works her hardest and is very open about talking about my mom - Even if it might be hard for her. She works her hardest and she prays for me. And I can ask her about anything. She has sacrificed a lot for me and my family.

Then last there is my Mom, my guardian angel. Someone who raised me and is still watching out for me on the otherside. I miss her lots but I know that she is there (sometimes I still talk to her). I know she loves me. She is my best friend.

SUMMER!

A Blogplace. This is where I will give updates on my crazy summer in logan. I'm excited to start all new a fresh. No School. No Boy. New Roommates. New Ward. New CLEAN apt. Everything that I could ask for. This summer is going to be great. I moved into my new apartment on thursday and it already is ten times better than the old place. I am excited for summer vacations and just the warm weather (in logan?- amazing). This week my co-worker and I were pretty much homeless. I had to be out of my apartment by Monday, she had to be out by Friday. We were lucky and were able to live with our other co-worker in her new home. It was fun, but I'm glad to be at my own house and have my own space!!! I'm looking for a job and will hopefully find one in the near future. Until I post again- remember to smile!
