Thanks!

So I need to tell my family and my roommates how much I love them for what they do for me. Lets start with my roommates! They let me spill my guts out to them and they just sit and listen to me. They even let me make a mascara-tear mess on their dress. They understand my issues boys and most of them have experienced them too. They understand my homesickness even though I live closer to my family then some of them; I see my family more than them. They calm me down so I wont cry my eyes out right before ward prayer and look like an idiot inf ront of the ward. They understand that sometimes you have to get away from the drama so that you can come back renewed and refreshed. They love me no matter what. That although they support me on going on a mission and they are excited for me, they are also sad to see me leave. I love them so much and I don't know if they realize how much they do for me.
Now my family, my rock, my support. I haven't been home in what feels like a while and although that a while isn't very long at all it has felt like an eternity. Also I realized that the next time I go home my Dad and Heidi are going to be in Boston so I won't even be able to see them. I miss my Daddy so much but it is interesting because he seemed to know that and texted me and then I called him and talked to him for 45 mins on the phone about everything that was stressing me. I love him so much.
Also I miss my Mom. I know she is still there and I can talk to her when in need but i miss her hugs and her laugh. Her advise and her just being their whenever I need. I miss being able to call and talk to her on the phone, or come home to her working. I miss being able to talk to her about anything and to be able to tell her everything. Mom, I miss you! I love you!
Well I'm grateful to have a great family that misses me and wants to know what is going on in my life. I'm grateful for Brittney's phone calls, and Kim's funny advice, Brandon's smile and Justin's hugs. I love them so much.
I'm still seem to be emotional today but at least I know I have the support I need sitting around me in Logan and at home praying for me in Salt Lake...

I love all of you so much.

Blessings

It is interesting how the moments when trials are the hardest are when the Lord seems to bless us the most. And even in bad situations you can find his hand in everything, making the situation easier.

I'm so greatful for the Lord and the atonement in our lives. How the Lord knows what is happening at all times and he has a plan for us. He watches over us and sends his Guardian angels to help us; to watch us so that we can sleep at night.

I am so greatful for blessings and I'm trying to see the Lord in my every day life, in the good things and in helping with the bad things.
I'm grateful for the safe embrace of a hug. For the wisdom her grandma, the bestest friends in the world, the sincere words of a prayer, for the peace of the temple, for the strength of roommates, for neighbors that are like big brothers, for the whisperings of the spirits, for the priesthood and the sweet message of a blessing, for my loving parents, for prayers, for scriptures, for the atonement and how it can wipe away pain, For everything beautiful in the world. For a loving Heavenly Father who loves his children and hurts whenever they hurt.

I'm very grateful for everything that I have been blessed with. There truley are angels around us.

Funny + Changes

Its funny how even though I'm stressed out of my mind about everything that I have to do this week I still find myself blogging and watching football/ tv shows with my neighbors. I keep thinking of everything I have to do and then think of how much I really just don't want to do it. I also think that it is funny that it is almost 12:00 at night and I still have to take a shower and read my scriptures but what am I doing oh ya blogging.
My life is pretty sad. I know.

Also this weekend my Dad was put as the Bishop of my home ward. It is kind of weird to think about. I'm the Bishop's Daughter. I think he will be a great one though. He is pretty much the most humble, amazing, righteous men I know. I love him so much!!!! It has been such an overwhelming weekend for him I know but I want him to know that I know he was called of God. I know because I felt it as I (and the ward) sustained him at church.

Thanks Dad for being who you are!! and for being such a great example to me.

Also I'm working on my Mission Papers. I will be done with them in the next couple of weeks. It is so crazy to me that I'm even old enough to go on a mission. But I'm very excited to do so.

Anyway thats about it for now!!!

trips part two

Also this summer my family and I went to YellowStone. It was a fun trip and we loved spending time with Heidi's sister Susie and her family.

The first day I think we drove for like ever through logan, bear Lake, Jackson Hole, Yellow Stone, and finally through Cody.

The next day we spent some time at the buffalo Bill museum it was quite fun. It was fun to look at Annie Oakley's things.

Then Wednesday we went back to Yellow Stone and spent the whole day driving around. We missed seeing a bear by like 2 minutes because he went over the hill. We saw Old Faithful and that was always fun. We saw a bunch of Elk but that was it. We really wanted to see a bear and Moose.

The next day we wanted to go fishing but It was rainy and really windy. We would cast out our lines and it would end up washing up to shore. We ended up going up to a meadow and having dutch oven cooking while it cleared up for a second. On the way to the meadow we saw a ranch of buffalo and it was amazing to see them just standing there.

The last night we ended up having a girl's night and we had wax pedicures and then we watched Kate and Leopold which was great.

Saturday we started our long drive home, we went through Yellow Stone again. It was great because we saw a huge and I mean HUGE buffalo herd. It was interesting because it was their mating season and they were very active; pairing off into couples. We didn't really see any other animals. So we decided to go through Rexburg to the Bear park there. It was kind of fun but I wish we would have seen a wild bear.
Then we came home it was fun.

drip, drip, drip

Its raining, its pouring,

the old man is snoring,

He went to bed

and bumped his head

And couldn't get up in the morning!!!

I love it when it rains!!!

I'm so glad it is raining today, the only thing that would be better is if the power would go out at work and we were able to close!!! That would be awesome!!! Because I could go play, dance, and sing in the rain!!!!

Trips part one

My Favorite place in the world. I got to spend a whole week in Joe's Valley this year and I totally loved it. I took only a few pictures but here are some.

Our camp.... The mountains..... Love them!!!!

We took a trip to Orangeville... We had to ride in the back and I got kinda car sick... I never get car sick but maybe it was the windy roads.

My Great-Great Grandma Jenny Jewkes is buried in Orangeville. She was a neat lady she was still alive when I was born, it is very interesting.

I love the mountains so much and I wish I could go back!!

We went fishing (of course), had Joe's valley idol (with special alien guests), had taco salad and cobbler, played around, roasted mallows and laffy taffy, sitting in the rain, cleaned up a leaky tent, lived, loved, and laughed. Joe's valley was awesome!!!!

First Impressions

I am a nice person, I really am. Most people that I meet I like. I give most people the benefit of the doubt and I like them for who they are. There are people that get on my nerves but I still like them for who they are. But I admit that lately there is one person for which I have strong feelings of dislike. He is one of those people that has a high opinion of himself. This by itself I might be able to over look. The reason I don't like him is they way he makes others feel. On first glance he is a really cute boy that any girl would like and then he opens his mouth and .... Within the first conversation with him I went from thinking he was cute to thinking that I didn't want to ever be around him. Also, when he met my roommate he was a complete jerk to her.
I think the reason I have a hard time with him is he reminds me a lot of a boy I knew that was a complete and total jerk. (This boy was one of the most manipulative and disgusting boys I have ever met.) Both boys have a lot of the same views of the world and they both seem to be shallow jerks.
I have wondered if maybe I'm being over dramatic. I tend to do that sometimes (it is the theatre side of me coming out). Maybe I am, and I'll admit that I do pretend to hate him more than I actually do. But I do have a dislike for him, stemmed from all the things mentioned above.
Since meeting this boy I have also wondered if it was just a bad first impression and I truely hope that it is. I wonder if it is like in Pride and Prejudice where Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth hate each other because they just don't understand each other. Maybe it is and the more we get to know him the more our opinion of him will improve but as of right now I don't like him much at all.
